About Jason Matossian

I am a follower of Jesus Christ and I want to serve Him with every ounce of my being.

I am married to the love of my life and undeserved gift from God, Nora, and together we have two very cool kids, Ara and Kaira.

I am a pastor of some of the most amazing people at Mount Ararat Bible Church (mountabc.org) in Northridge, CA.  They are family to me.

I love reading, playing sports (especially soccer, tennis, and basketball), spending time with my family, laughing, and watching ESPN (yes, sometimes even the same highlights over and over and over again).

I have a Ph.D. in Church History from Fuller Theological Seminary, having studied under James Bradley, a wonderful, godly mentor.

I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Political Science, started UCLA Law School, and realized that God had called me for a different purpose.  After making the difficult decision to leave law school, I was admitted to Talbot School of Theology and received a Master of Divinity degree and then later a Master of Theology (in New Testament) degree.

My hope and desire is that anything I write here will magnify Christ, challenge readers, and encourage hearts.  Thanks for visiting… and I’d love to hear from you your thoughts.
